Justine Kuran is a self-taught, Melbourne-based Quilling artist, wife, and mother of three teenage girls and a very large dog.

Every component in her unique designs she hand-makes from colourful strips of paper, some finished pieces taking weeks to create.

Justine’s initial inspiration came from symbols and how we connect to them; a hamsa, representing luck and protection, a mandala, representing calm and centeredness, and the heart, the universal symbol of love.

Recently she has also enjoyed success in contemporary and corporate designs, including artworks created for prime ministers, movie stars and prominent Australians.

While having participated in many art shows and exhibitions, Nissarana is Justine’s first gallery representation and fulfills a five-year dream
