My passion for expressive textures and energetic tones absorbs me into my creative process. Each artwork is a unique creation derived from an intuitive practice that spontaneously evolves from one mark to the next.  I value the practice of letting go and trusting, leaving behind any preconceived notions of how the piece ought to be.

I work from my studio in the hills of Mount Kembla on the South Coast of New South Wales, I paint or sketch every day finding my  happiest moments in the early mornings, music playing, light streaming through the window, alone in the studio with a bunch of freshly picked flowers from the garden. I abstract the flowers into my style and then it’s onto the big canvas with the same approach, building up my layers and finishing with big, juicy brush marks with lots of paint and energy.

I believe my signature style can be attributed to the pure joy of creating, a constant evolution of a dynamic approach to mark making.

Art for me is my time to unwind and relax – it is when I indulge in colour, surrender to the process and let the freedom of creativity flow in its natural state.

Over the years I have been exhibiting in both solo & group exhibitions throughout Sydney, Melbourne & Regional NSW.  I have been a finalist in The Waverly Art Prize, Fishers Ghost Art Prize, Highly commended in Southern Highlands Pirtek Art Prize & winning a Local Westpac Art Prize.  A Resident Artist with Fern Street Gallery.

Always in demand and with a practice that includes taking commissions, my paintings are now finding homes not just in Australia, but also in England, China New Zealand and France.
